Does anyone know how much Batman Wonder Woman #30 costs?

I bought it for approximately $3.00 from a local comic store. But seeing as how all things are really expensive in my home country… :P I wouldn’t take my word as gospel. Hope I helped u at least get a sense of the general price range anon :)

Okay. Now I’ve read it, I’m ready to roll.

Honestly, when I first heard about this issue (start of the year), I was like:

Then when I actually read it I was like:

The art was so disappointing. It was like wonky profiles and weird body postures all over the place. Not to mention that it’s not the kind of epic issue you would expect for commemorating some kind of anniversary (in this case Batman/Robin issue 30, am I correct?) There were some moments (I’ve noticed that whenever they collaborate, DC always teases us with at least one moment. Look at Lego Batman The Movie. Look at Crisis On Two Earths.) that, believe me, I appreciate, but it was so below expectations. And I went through so much stress just to get the issue. What a disappointment.

Name some good BMWW fanfics that u really like. I mean there are tons of them out there. which ones do u recommend?

Well… Offhand I have a couple of them that I really really would recommend, and you don’t have to know continuity (for most of them) to be able to enjoy them. In order of recommendation:

These fics can be found on fanfiction.net.

  • An Unusual Mission by Adrian Tullberg.
  • Aftermath by SelDear.
  • In Darkest Light by Meljean Brook.
  • Tell Me Lies by Ugly Girl.
  • Escape Artistry by David Hines.
  • Sunday Dinner at Wayne Manor, Another Sunday Dinner at Wayne Manor by Rick Peterson.
  • The Chronicles of Sexy Bruce by Kipling Bunny. Absolutely hilarious.
  • It’s All Fun And Games, Until Somebody Loses by Geeky BMWW Fan. Two of the author’s best stories (remarkable looking at the considerable number of stories she’s written).
  • A Rose By Any Other Name by argonis.
  • Dress Up Diana by Aurora0628. The author has tons of Wonderbat stories and they’re all at about this rating so I suggest you go check them out. Dress Up Diana is particularly humourous.
  • Rules of Engagement by Djinn1.
  • Mating Displays by Djinn1.
  • The Knight And The Princess by argonis.
  • The Last Laugh by Cleric. Unfinished so it would be good if you rushed the author a bit..
  • The Prodigal by Cleric.
  • Chicken Soup by The-Lady-Isis.

These can be found on Archive Of Our Own.

  • Training Day, A Bat For Christmas by LOTSloverCSS.
  • Movie Night by Ares81.

I know I haven’t listed some of those more popular authors but I really like these stories and I think they need more publicity (Aftermath, despite its awesome awesomeness, only has 60+ favs at the time of writing..)

Hope this helped you anon :)

Repeats some. Again, I can’t stand the art in BMWW #30.

Oh I just realised WW has her old costume back in Beyond.. :P

This is one of the many reasons why I love Susan Eisenberg!

I know the art is kind of odd but damn the amazons look fierce. They look like amazons for once.

Call me weird but I don’t like Diana’s body so… blocky. She looks like she was made out of Lego bits. Curved Lego bits, but still. At least she doesn’t look like the Amazon on the left. Although, yes, the Amazons do look like Amazons for once, and not just your generic pretty girl (as is commonly portrayed).
But I’m just saying that the art - from what I see here and from the cover - does not look promising to me.
BTW it would be so much better if it was WW holding the sword at Batman’s throat… She’s usually more proactive than just standing at the side while other Amazons deal with the intruder.

Nice. This made me realise that Gal Gadot is perfect for the role of WW.

Does anyone think Olivia Wilde would be good too?

I always sensed a… connection between Diana and Bruce. As far as I knew, they’d never acted on it. If I know Bruce, he had countless logical reasons. It could have disrupted the team dynamic. Distracted from the mission. That sort of thing.

Sometimes it takes the horror of war to make you realize what really matters.

Wow. Where the heck is this from? I need to read it!

OMG. This is just… amazing. Besides the expression on her face when she realises he’s… old is just beautiful. Although when did she get so much shorter than him??

That awkward moment when you can’t tell whether he’s being serious or not.

His sense of humor comes out at the oddest times, bless his heart.

Honestly, my favourite scene in the whole episode - excepting the monster fight scene (cos who doesn’t love seeing Batman covered in monster drool?) and the buttslap scene.
